Pricing FAQ
Are these prices fixed?
Yes, all airport routes have fixed prices that apply in both directions — from the airport to your destination and back. The price you see is the price you pay, regardless of traffic conditions, road diversions, or how long the journey takes. There are no hidden fees, fuel surcharges, or extra charges for luggage. For custom routes to destinations not listed on our standard price table, we calculate an individual quote based on distance, and you receive the exact price before confirming your booking.
How much is a taxi from Gdansk airport to the city center?
The fixed price for a taxi from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) to the city center is 100 PLN during the day and 120 PLN at night. The journey covers approximately 12 kilometers and takes around 20 minutes depending on traffic. This price applies to our standard vehicle (Toyota RAV4 or similar) carrying up to 4 passengers with luggage. The driver meets you at the arrivals hall with a name sign, and you pay after the ride — no prepayment required.
How much is a taxi from Gdansk airport to Sopot?
A taxi from Gdańsk Airport to Sopot costs 120 PLN during the day and 150 PLN at night. The route is approximately 22 kilometers and the ride takes around 25–30 minutes via the motorway. Sopot is a popular seaside resort town known for the famous Monte Cassino street and the longest wooden pier in Europe. Our driver will take you directly to your hotel or any address in Sopot. The price is fixed and covers the entire journey with no additional charges for luggage or waiting at the terminal.
How much is a taxi from Gdansk airport to Gdynia?
The fixed price for a taxi from Gdańsk Airport to Gdynia is 150 PLN during the day and 200 PLN at night. Gdynia is located approximately 35 kilometers from the airport, and the drive takes around 35–40 minutes. As a major port city in the Tri-City area, Gdynia is a popular destination for business travelers and tourists visiting the waterfront, Kościuszko Square, and the Emigration Museum. When does the night rate apply?
The night rate applies from 22:00 to 06:00 and also on Sundays and public holidays throughout the entire day. For example, if your flight arrives at 21:45 and you clear customs by 22:10, the night rate applies because the ride begins after 22:00. If you are arriving on a Sunday regardless of the time, the night rate also applies. The night surcharge reflects higher operational costs during these hours and is already included in the fixed night price shown on our pricing page — there are no additional charges beyond the listed fare.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all prices displayed on our website include VAT. The amount you see is the final amount you pay — there is nothing extra added at the end of your ride. For business travelers who need documentation for expense reports or tax purposes, we provide VAT invoices on request. Simply let us know when booking or ask your driver after the ride, and we will send the invoice to your email address. Our company is registered as WK DRIVE WIKTOR KOROL (NIP: 5862330063) in Poland.
Do you monitor flight delays?
Yes, we actively track all incoming flights to Gdańsk Airport using real-time flight monitoring systems. If your flight is delayed by 30 minutes or 3 hours, our driver will adjust the pickup time automatically — you do not need to call or notify us. There is no extra charge for flight delays. When your plane lands, the driver is already at the terminal waiting with your name sign. This service is included in every booking at no additional cost, giving you peace of mind even when travel plans change unexpectedly.
Are tips included in the price?
Tips are not included in the fixed price, but they are always appreciated by our drivers. The price you pay covers the complete transfer service including the driver meeting you at arrivals with a name sign, assistance with luggage, the ride to your destination, and free flight tracking. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. If you are happy with the service and would like to leave a tip, you can do so in cash or add it to the card payment. A typical tip in Poland is around 10–15% of the fare, but it is entirely optional.
