Why taxi is usually the best pick
Gdynia is further from the airport than Gdańsk or Sopot, and SKM requires a change at Gdańsk Wrzeszcz or Gdynia Główna. With luggage, the extra 20 minutes versus a direct taxi is significant. Taxi drives via Obwodnica Trójmiasta (S6 expressway) which is consistently fast outside of rush hour (7:30–9:00 and 15:30–17:30 weekdays).
Sea-front hotels and cruise passengers
Many cruise passengers use GDN for pre- or post-cruise stays in Gdynia. If your ship docks at Gdynia Sea Terminal, a pre-booked taxi with a name sign at arrivals is the safest option after a long flight. We handle dozens of MSC, TUI, and Silversea transfers every season — ask about luggage capacity for large cruise cases during booking.
