Why taxi is typically the best choice for Łeba
Public transport from GDN to Łeba requires two or three changes (SKM to Gdańsk Główny, then PKP Intercity or regional train to Lębork, then local bus to Łeba). For a family with luggage after an international flight, 3–4 hours of transfers is exhausting. A pre-booked taxi is 1h 30min door-to-door at a fixed price for up to 4 passengers — the per-person cost comparison becomes favourable with 2+ travellers.
Słowiński National Park access
The shifting sand dunes (Łącka Góra in particular) are ~8 km west of Łeba. From the park entrance you continue by foot, bike, or electric car. Your taxi can drop you off at the park entrance in Rąbka or at your Łeba hotel — let us know preference during booking.
Peak-season booking advice
- July and August bookings should be made 48+ hours ahead
- Morning transfers (before 11:00) avoid the worst resort-area traffic
- For return transfers from Łeba to GDN, add 30 minutes of buffer in peak season
