When should I leave for Gdańsk Airport?
Tell us your departure time and where you are starting from. We work back through bag drop, security and the drive — and give you one pickup time you can actually book.

This is the moment every deadline is still just barely met — with no room for a queue, a closed lane or a forgotten passport. We do not plan rides to this number; we show it so you can see the margin you are getting.
How we work the time out
Nothing here is a rule of thumb. We start from the hard deadlines your airline and the airport actually enforce, then add the drive.
- Bag drop closes 40 minutes before departure — miss it and your ticket is gone, even if you are inside the terminal.
- The gate closes 20 minutes before departure. Boarding is not the departure time.
- Security takes about 15 minutes off-peak and around 30 in the early-morning bank between 05:00 and 08:30.
- Passport control adds roughly 10 minutes on flights outside the Schengen area.
- The drive is adjusted for the hour you actually travel — padded in rush hour, shortened on empty night roads.
- On top of that sits the margin the airport itself recommends. We keep it. Being early costs a coffee; being late costs the flight.

Questions people ask
How early should I be at Gdańsk Airport?
Gdańsk Airport recommends at least 2 hours before departure, and that is the floor we plan to for Schengen flights — 1.5 hours for domestic and 2.5 hours for flights outside Schengen. For flights leaving between 05:00 and 08:30 we add another 20 minutes, because that is when the low-cost carriers all push out at once and the security queue is at its worst. The planner above turns that into an actual pickup time for your address.
How do I get to Gdańsk Airport for a 6:00 flight?
For a 06:00 departure you need to be at the terminal around 03:40, which means leaving the Tri-City somewhere between 02:15 and 03:20 depending on where you start. The SKM train does not help — the first service is around 04:30, far too late. Ride-hailing apps at that hour are a lottery, especially in Gdynia, Rumia or Wejherowo. A pre-booked transfer is the only option that is guaranteed to be outside your door, and the fare is fixed and known when you book.
Does the driver come earlier if there is traffic?
The pickup time already accounts for it. We adjust the drive for the hour you actually travel: rush-hour runs between 06:30–09:00 and 14:30–18:00 get extra minutes built in, and night runs are planned on the faster, empty roads. You book one time and that time already contains the traffic assumption — there is no separate surcharge for a slow journey, because the price is fixed regardless of how long the drive takes.
Do I pay more for a pickup at 3 in the morning?
The night tariff applies between 22:00 and 06:00, on Sundays and on public holidays, and the planner shows you which rate your pickup falls under before you book. There is no separate "early morning" fee on top, no surge pricing and no charge for booking ahead. The price you see when you book is the price you pay after the ride.
What if my flight time changes after I book?
Tell us and we move the pickup — there is no charge for rescheduling. Cancellation is free anytime before pickup, and we take no prepayment, so a changed plan costs you nothing. For departures we ask you to confirm the evening before, which is also when we would catch a schedule change on your side.
